The Endicott Crew team will be looking to capture more titles beginning Homecoming Weekend (Oct 1, 2, 3).  The men's and women's 4+ will travel to Lowell, MA on October 3 to kick off their 2010-11 season with high hopes and new recruits.  With veteran returners and Coach Chorney's efforts, this team will be looking to make EC history in pursuit of a second NECRL Championship title! After winning last weekend's New England Collegiate Rowing League's final regular season race to earn a spot in the Championships, the Endicott women's novice 4+ captured it's first ever league title with a time of 9:04:3, beating second-place Roger Williams by 10 seconds.   Emily Heath, Caitlin Micek, Courtney Russell, Joy Harriman, and Kaitlyn Walker teamed up to take the coveted win at Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, MA.  Assumption College and Brandeis finished third and fourth respectively (full results can be found at the link attached here)  http://results.qra.org/expand_regatta.lasso?-KeyValue=34001 Read Full Release

After a week one hiccup, the Endicott women's novice 4+'s tweaked lineup (Cox: Kaitlyn Walker, 4: Joy Harriman, 3: Emily Heath, 2: Courtney Russell, and 1: Caitlin Micek) got some help in the standings on their bye week, and were given the opportunity to force their own hands in the New England Collegiate Rowing League regular season finale in Manchester, NH.  Having to defeat Brandeis University and Lasell College to qualify for the NECRL Championship regatta, the gulls took off from the start and never looked back en route to the first 1st place finish in team history, finishing over 15 seconds ahead of previously undefeated Assumption College.  Full race results are below.
