The Endicott women’s volleyball squad took to the court at MacDonald Gymnasium for their season and home opener against The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) opponent Anna Maria College and defeated the AmCats 3-0 (25-6, 25-13, 25-12) to start off the 2010 season 1-0. Read Full Release

The Endicott women’s volleyball team was voted as the preseason favorite to take The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) title in poll conducted by conference coaches.  The Gulls earned 11 votes and four first place votes, finishing just ahead of Roger Williams and Western New England. Endicott College will once again be hosting an advanced session of Nike Volleyball Camps this summer.  The dates of this summers "High Potential" camp June 27 - July 1 and the staff will consist of both current and former Endicott players and coaching staff. Read Full Release

Endicott College’s Steph Wiese (Higganum, Conn.) has been selected to the New England Women’s Volleyball Association’s Senior Classic to be held on Sunday on the campus of UMass-Boston. Coaches nominate and vote and the top 25 are invited to participate in a skills competition at 10:30 a.m. and then a match to follow at 1:00 p.m. Read Full Release

Fourth-seeded Western New England College posted a 3-1 victory over fifth-seeded Endicott in a quarterfinal round match of the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III New England Women's Volleyball Championship Wednesday evening. The Gulls wrap up their 2009 season at 19-17.

The top-seeded Endicott women’s volleyball team lost just one TCCC match all season long, a 3-0 setback to Roger Williams University back on September 19th. On Thursday night the Hawks proved the early season victory was no fluke, as fourth-seeded RWU pulled the upset and knocked off the three-time defending TCCC Champion Gulls in a 3-0 sweep in Beverly, Mass. Roger Williams used set scores of 25-22, 25-22 and 25-20 to improve its record to 20-10 and advance to Saturday’s conference final.

The Commonwealth Coast Conference has announced its annual TCCC Women’s Volleyball All-Conference Team(s), and Endicott College has four players who received recognition. Senior outside Steph Wiese (Higganum, Conn.) was named a First Team selection, while Brittany Phillips (Sudbury, Mass.) and Elyse Barbour (Greenville, R.I.) were honored as Second Team Honorees. Junior Ally Murphy (Gilford, N.H.) was also awarded Honorable Mention status at the setter position.

Endicott College has claimed the top seed for The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) volleyball championship, which begins with quarterfinal matchups on campus sites Tuesday. The Gulls (18-15 overall) earned the top seed in the conference tournament after compiling a 9-1 record in TCCC play. Endicott will host #8 seed Regis College (8-25 overall, 2-8 TCCC) in a quarterfinal contest Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.
