James T. Daley, MS, LAT, ATC, CSCS, PES, CSS enters his sixth season at Endicott and third as Associate Head Athletic Trainer in 2017-18.
Daley comes to Endicott with a Bachelor of Science (Exercise & Sport Sciences) from Colby-Sawyer College and a Master of Science (Health Science & Sport Studies) from California University of Pennsylvania, as well as six years of professional and clinical experience. Daley has spent time at the high school, collegiate, amateur and professional ranks as an athletic trainer.
Daley served as the assistant athletic trainer for California University of Pennsylvania where he was clinically responsible for the football program while instructing functional kinesiology, sports nutrition, anatomy & physiology, and clinical education courses in the health science department.
Daley’s prior collegiate experience includes stints at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, Colby-Sawyer College, and Saint Anselm College. He has worked with a variety of varsity athletic programs including men’s and women’s basketball, ice hockey, baseball, football, women’s lacrosse and soccer. Daley’s lecture experience extends to his time at UNC Pembroke where he taught courses in anatomy & physiology, introduction to athletic training, and the board of certification preparatory.
He has also spent time with the New England Patriots in charge of athlete practice preparation as well as facility management and travel packing. Daley has also volunteered with the Boston Athletic Association.
Daley is certified by the Board of Certification as well as the National Academy of Sports Medicine, the National Association of Speed and Explosion, the American Heart Association as a heart saver in basic life support and the American Swimming Pool and Spa Association as a licensed aquatic facility technician. He is a certified regular member of the National Athletic Trainers Association and the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
