Athletic Trainers welcome Life Choices to Endicott community
Beverly, Mass. – On Tuesdays and Thursdays for the past three years, Endicott College athletic training students developed the Life Choices program, an initiative dedicated to integrating a local day habilitation group for adults with disabilities into the Endicott community while giving students the chance to learn of disabilities and disorders not traditionally taught in an athletic training program.

Beverly, Mass. – On Tuesdays and Thursdays for the past three years, Endicott College athletic training students developed the Life Choices program, an initiative dedicated to integrating a local day habilitation group for adults with disabilities into the Endicott community while giving students the chance to learn of disabilities and disorders not traditionally taught in an athletic training program.
Each week students design and implement recreational rehabilitation activities for all the participants. The experience is rewarding for both the athletic training students and the Life Choices participants.
The Life Choices participants enjoy partaking in healthy exercise and rehabilitation as well as developing new relationships with the college students, and ultimately become part of the Endicott College community. Participants have been seen playing a variety of exercise-provoking games at Endicott’s facilities as well as attending and cheering on the Gulls at varsity games.
Students who have been a part of these bi-weekly sessions have fostered and developed a heightened sense of compassion, sensitivity, responsibility, and generosity. Each student’s work ethic, personality and desire for learning are instrumental in the design and implementation of the Life Choices activities.
