Official Athletic Site of Endicott

BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott sophomore Kevin Eagan (West Hartford, Conn.) has been named to the D3Football.com Team of the Week, as announced by Scoutware’s Kate Cronin on Monday. The site’s all-weekly team recognizes the top Division III player at each position for the previous weeks’ game.

Eagan, a 6’4”, 250 pound sophomore, has split his time between linebacker and defensive end for the Gulls. Eagan, who was the 2008 New England Football Conference Defensive Rookie of the Year, continued his standout career in 2009 with team-leading numbers on the defensive side of the football. This past week in a 27-15 win over MIT, Eagan had six tackles, a sack and a 44-yard fumble recovery for an Endicott touchdown. For the season, Eagan posted a team-high 74 tackles including 16.5 for a loss of 50 yards. Eagan also had 2.5 sacks, three fumble recoveries and a forced fumble in 2009 for the Blue and Green.
