3 on 3 Basketball Quick Hits
Team Chris Fields, despite their undefeated record, seem to be flying under the radar during the 2010 season. Stacked with talent on both the offensive and defensive ends of the floor, Team Chris Fields is built for a strong playoff run. Connor “The Sensation” Seymour is playing the best basketball of his career and is looking to attain the intramural basketball championship which has alluded him in previous years. Partnered with Zach “Main Event” Markowitz, whose electric moves with the basketball and silky-smooth jump shot put him amongst the elite scorers in the league, This may be the year Seymour sees his hard work turn into a basketball championship.
The BSC seems to be pulling away in their division with some dominating performances. Aaron “Highlight-Reel” Horlbogen, Steve “Hops” Harper and Tim “The Beast” Boyatsis have their team going in the right direction with some impressive three point shooting and low-post scoring which is almost impossible to stop. The key to their success in the playoffs may be Trevor “Amazing” Grace. Coming off the bench, Grace has the ability to dribble through defenses or knock down the outside shot. With a plethora of talented players, the BSC may be too much for opposing teams in the playoffs.
Team Dustin also looks to be championship contenders during the 2010 season. Led by Dan “Making it Rain” Ryan and Darrel “D’em Up” Kelton, Team Dustin is one of the strong defensive teams in the league. Ryan has the ability to drain baskets from anywhere on the floor and Kelton always seems to be in the right position for clean up buckets. With the Lockard brothers contributing in every facet of the game, keep an eye on Team Dustin sneaking up on opposing teams.
