Garett Seney, Intramural Coordinator - Graduate Assistant
BEVERLY, Mass- Field House
The 5 on 5 Basketball season came to and end last night as
Beastmode was crowned winner defeating their opponent 36-28 in
overtime. Beastmode squared off against Multiple Scores in
what was a heated and competitive battle. The game was back a
forth as both teams played stellar defense and were getting in a
grove on offense. Both teams shared the wealth as each team
had six men get on the scoresheet. Jason Silva and Spencer
Calling led the way for Multiple Scores with eleven points
combined.
At the end of regulation the score was tied 25-25. Beastmode
came out angry and rolled through Multiple Scores holding them to
only three points in overtime, while Beastmode put up eleven.
Teammates Eric Callo and Victor Resto each had dunks, slamming the
victory home. They were a force to be reckoned with and
proved to be to much to handle for Multiple Scores. On the
Night Resto led the way with eleven points, Callo had nine points,
and Ryan Connelly and Matt Bibeau combined for eleven points, while
Colin Sitarz and Ben Petrides combinded for five points.
Beastmode will be graduating this year, as this monumental team
will go down in the Intramural history books for their 2012
undefeated season dominance.
