Team Matys Stuns Skiiyoup

Two Arena Football powerhouses squared off last night in a battle for the 2013 Championship.  Team Matys ousted the Skiiyoup Gang winning in a nail biting fashion, 41-34.

The game was neck and neck after the first half and continued down to the wire as the minutes ticked away.  In the end Team Matys was able to clinch victory due to a steady offensive showing.  Alec Matys and Cam Lett each had two touchdowns on the night While Cam Hooper and Jimmy Nguyen combined each had one

Skiiyoup was lead on offense by quarterback Drew Frenette who found Lance Green in the endzone 3 times.  However, their potent offense stuggled in the second half to continue to drive down the field. 

The semi-finals were played last night before the championship game as the Skiiyoup defeated Team Pablo Sanchez 47-34, and Team Matys beat The Big T's winning 41-40.
