Co-ed Softball has Begun Record Season
Garett Seney, Intramural Coordinator - Graduate Assistant
BEVERLY, Mass- Stadium
Sunday marked the first day for co-ed softball. This year co-ed softball set and Endicott College Intramural record with 19 teams submitting rosters for the 2011 season. 10 games were played on Sunday afternoon and not one game was a blow out. It seems this year’s season has brought parity as well as a high participation rate.
There were some great individual efforts on Sunday with the long ball. Eric Lemke led the way with two homeruns to start off the season. Kevin Butler, Dana Duquette, Mike Littlefield, Justin Creas, Dave LeClair, Nick Campagna and, Joe Desjardins, all had one homerun on the afternoon.
Games will continue next Sunday, October 2 on the softball field.
