Western New England College senior Steve Rourke (Nashua, N.H.) earned Medalist honors as he fired a field-best 70, helping lead the Golden Bears to the 2008 TCCC Golf Championship at the Essex County Club in Manchester, Massachusetts on Thursday afternoon. WNEC shot a combined 311 and held off a strong Nichols College squad who finished in second place with a team score of 319. Host Endicott took third with a 334. read more

Teams from 44 colleges and universities across New England gathered Sunday through Tuesday, October 19-21, 2008 for the 74th annual New England Intercollegiate Golf Championship. The event attracted 215 golfers to The Captains Golf Course and its 36-hole layout on Cape Cod. read more

The Endicott College men's golf team finished in seventh place at the Bison Invitational held at Blissful Meadows Country Club on Wednesday. Nichols College won its first Bison Invitational with a team score of 310. Nichols was led by junior Pat Pio (Somers, Conn.) and senior Chris Healy (Charlton, Mass.), who each fired a three-over-par 75 to lead the 43-player field. Pio prevailed in a one-hole playoff to take top medalist honors. read more
