Endicott Takes Second At UNE Invitational
KENNEBUNKPORT, Maine- The Endicott Men's Golf team traveled to Maine this afternoon for the University of New England Invitational and came out with a second place finish. Freshman Austin Teal (Loudonville, N.Y.) posted Endicott's low score after shooting a combined 74 on the day.

Freshman Austin Teal (Loudonville, N.Y.) posted Endicott's low score after shooting a combined 74 on the day. The 39 and 35 scores helped him to a third place finish.
Endicott finished seven strokes behind winner U. Southern Maine after posting a total of 308. Captain Jack Carroll (West Hartford, Conn.) was right on the heels of Teal as the junior was able to put together rounds of 39 and 36 for a combined 75, which tied him for fourth. Jackson Wyman (South Freeport, Maine) finished 11th as the junior recorded an 18 hole total of 79 after shooting a 38 on the front nine and 41 on the back. Nick Erlichman (Shrewsbury, Mass.) and Ian Teal (Loudonville, N.Y.) tied for 12th as the duo both shot 80 on the day. Erlichman recorded a 41 and a 39 as the elder Teal recorded scores of 38 and 42.
Endicott's score of 308 helped them finish one shot ahead of CCC foe UNE and 24 strokes ahead of U. Maine Farmington. The Gulls now have a quick turnaround as they head back to the state of Maine for a two day invitational hosted by the University of Southern Maine in Gorham, Maine. The tournament, hosted at Gorham Country Club, kicks off Sunday at 11 a.m. and is followed by an 11 a.m. start on Monday.
