Gulls suffer 3-0 defeat to #25 Bowdoin on the road

BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Endicott women’s volleyball team traveled to non-conference, NESCAC rival Bowdoin on Tuesday evening and lost to the \#25 ranked Polar Bears 3-0. It was the fifth time this season the Gulls had faced a nationally ranked opponent.
The Gulls (12-14, 5-1 CCC) move on to their final two matches of the regular season, both against conference opponents. The Blue and Green host Wentworth on Thursday at 7:00 pm and Salve Regina on Saturday at 1:00 pm in Newport, R.I.
Thursday’s home match will celebrate seniors Elyse Barbour (Greenville, R.I.) and Sarah Allshouse (Berthoud, Colo.).
Endicott sophomore Callie Dolan (Westford, Mass.) had a team-high 11 kills while contributing defensively with three digs and a block. Gulls junior outside hitter Falyn Torelli (Pelham, N.Y.) chipped in with five kills.
This week’s CCC Libero of the Week, Ashley Norley (Sudbury, Mass.), totaled 17 digs with sophomore Carly Beers (Traverse City, Mich.) adding seven more.
Allshouse (Berthoud, Colo.) found her attackers for 23 set assists in the loss.
