FAIRBANKS, Alaska – Junior ace JJ Branch (Milford, Mass.) and junior reliever Nick Quattro (Canton, Conn.) both earned a spot on the All-New England Second Team after leading the Gulls to a 26-17 record in 2015. Branch went 7-3 with a career-low 1.44 ERA this past spring as he held opposing hitters to a .221 batting average. Branch, an All-CCC First Teamer for the second straight season, struck out 53 batters over his 75.0 IP. Coming into the 2015 season, Branch was lauded by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper as a "Player to Watch" after he erupted with an 8-2 record, 2.88 ERA, and CCC Pitcher of the Year accolades in his sophomore season.

In 2015, Branch recorded wins over regionally-ranked teams including Worcester State, Salve Regina, Salem State, and MIT.

Quattro held opposing hitters to just a .131 batting average with just 22 hits allowed while walking 12.
