Beverly, MA-The Commonwealth Coast Conference released the tournament match-ups, following the conclusion of regular season play. As the North's 1st seed, the EC men play the South's 4th seed, Salve Regina. The EC women are the North's 4th, and play the South's 1st seed, Salve Regina.
The men play at home on Tuesday night, while the women travel to Newport, RI. Both games begin at 7pm, and all CCC contest tickets are \$5 for adults, and \$3 for students. Admission to home games for Endicott students, faculty and staff are free with Endicott ID. The semifinals will be played Thursday night. As the first seed, the men earned home court advantage during tournament play. The women travel to the highest seed during CCC playoffs.
Both the men's and women's basketball teams concluded their regular season play with big wins against University of New England on Saturday at Biddeford, ME. Both teams advance to the quarterfinals of the Commonwealth Coast Conference playoffs.
The men's win over UNE, coupled with a Colby-Sawyer loss, secured their first place seed in the CCC tournament. This is the second consecutive CCC regular season title for the men. The team also established a school record for most wins in a season (20), and marked the 11th consecutive win. The men post a CCC record of 14-2, 20-4 overall.
The women are coming off a big victory against the 3rd seed, UNE. The Gulls secured their 4th place seed in the CCC, during the last week of regular season play. The women post an overall record of 13-12, and go into the quarterfinal game with a 10-7 CCC record.
