BEVERLY, Mass. – Former Endicott men's lacrosse attackman Will Jennings '17 (Danvers, Mass.) has been selected by the Boston Cannons in the 2019 Major League Lacrosse (MLL) Supplemental Draft.

Jennings is now the eighth student-athlete in program history to be drafted or sign an MLL contract. Jennings joins Endicott Athletics Hall of Famer Patrick Gaffney '07 (Worcester, Mass.), John Ortolani '08 (Billerica, Mass.), Eric Hagarty '10, M'11 (Sudbury, Mass.), Harrison Cotter '15 (Lordship, Conn.), Cameron Bell '16 (Falmouth, Maine), Tommy Hughes '17 (Coram, N.Y.), and Colin Bannon '17 (Westport, Conn.) on the list.

"We are thrilled about the opportunity Will has to play at the highest level in professional lacrosse for the Boston Cannons. If you know Will, you know the hours he has dedicated to the game and how much this means to a student-athlete like him," said Endicott men's lacrosse head coach Eric Hagarty '10, M'11. "There is no question that he will take advantage of the opportunity and continue the great tradition of Endicott lacrosse players in the MLL."

In four seasons with the Gulls, Jennings compiled 188 goals and 59 assists for 247 points in 64 career games played. Jennings currently ranks third all-time in program history in goals and seventh in points.

He also ranks first all-time in career man-up goals (24), while his goals (80) and points (96) totals in 2016 rank first and second all-time in a single season, respectively.

Jennings, who graduated from Endicott with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, is currently an assistant coach with the Emerson College men's lacrosse program. Jennings is responsible for coaching the Lions' offense and assisting head coach Matthew Colombini in the program's recruiting efforts.
