Bryn Lipton Sweeps NECC Weekly Awards

BEVERLY, Mass. – For the third time this season, Endicott freshman outside Bryn Lipton (Rockford, Ill.) has earned New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Player and Rookie of the Week honors. 

Lipton led the Gulls to a 5-0 week (Mar. 20-26), which included a 3-2 win over AVCA No. 13 MIT, and a 3-1 win over Regis. For the week, the 6-5 freshman outside hit .310 while averaging 3.35 kills/set, 1.65 digs/set and 4.2 points/set. Lipton also logged two double-doubles on the week in a 13 kill, 11 dig effort against MIT, and a 17 kill/11 dig performance against Regis. He averaged 3.67 kills/set in conference play while hitting at a .419 clip. 

Endicott (16-9, 9-0 NECC) hosts Lesley and Southern Vermont in a conference tri-match on Saturday, April 1 at 11 AM and 3 PM, respectively.
