BEVERLY, Mass. - The Endicott women's soccer team saw four memebers garner 2018 All-New England accolades on Wednesday. The Gulls saw Kadrianna Letts (Beverly, Mass.), Mary Verneris (Hamden, Conn.) and Hannah Pesci (Windham, N.H.) receive First Team honors while Hannah Lederman (Natick, Mass.) was named to the Third Team. The four honors ties the second-highest total for a single season, behind only the 2005 season in which the Gulls claimed five nods.
On the back line, Letts and Lederman now add NEWISA All-New England honors to a 2018 campaign that saw both receive All-Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) honors as well. Letts, a sophomore, was named the CCC Defensive Player of the Year, while also receiving All-CCC First Team honors in addition to being named Second Team All-New England by the United Soccer Coaches Association. Lederman, a freshman, was named to the All-CCC Second Team as the two anchored a stout Endicott defense.
On the offensive side of the field, Pesci and Verneris were also named to the NEWISA All-New England First Team. The two also received All-CCC First Team honors in 2018. For Verneris, this was her second straight NEWISA First Team honor. Pesci and Verneris combined to score six goals and register six assists for 18 total points on the year. Pesci, a junior, scored four goals and registered two assists for a total of 10 points while Verneris notched two goals and four assists, for a total of eight points.
The four NEWISA All-Region nods bring the total to 45 in the history of the program, 42 of which have come under the leadership of head coach Jodi Kenyon.
