The Gulls went 0-2 on the final day of competition at the Dominican Invitational dropping a pair of 0-3 losses to Illinois Institute of Technology and Wheaton College (IL).
In the opening match of the day, Endicott faced one of the toughest opponents the Gulls will see this season in NAIA opponent IIT. Sara Moore continued to play well at the net contributing 6 kills and 3 blocks while Killeen Ross had 4 kills and 10 digs. Katie Lorinovich again led the team with 18 digs while Krystan Sylva had 13 assists.
I think the team learned some valuable lessons on the trip, which will pay dividends for us later this season. We had the chance to face some quality opponents on this trip and we found that we could compete with all of them.
