Beverly, MA -\#1 seed Endicott College defeated \#5 Gordon College 3-0 (30-16, 30-16, 30-14) to advance to the CCC Championship match. Gordon finishes their season 9-19 overall while Endicott improves to 28-6 and remains undefeated in CCC play.
The Gulls were led at the net by Sara Moore's 11 kills and 3 blocks. Juniors Killeen Ross and Patty Mikan were close behind with 10 and 9 kills respectively and 8 digs each. Meghan Hall dished out 31 assists while also picking up a team high 16 digs and 5 aces. Katie Lorinovich also played well anchoring the serve receive and picking up 9 digs.
Senior Becky Carlson led the Fighting Scots with 14 kills while picking up 17 digs. Libero Joanna Johnson had 18 digs and setter Chelsea Pettibone handed out 22 assists.
The Gulls will now host defending CCC Champions Colby-Sawyer in a 1:00 PM match this Saturday. \#2 Colby-Sawyer defeated \#3 Eastern Nazarene 3-0 (30-23, 30-25, 30-14) and will be advancing to the CCC Championship game for the eighth consecutive season while the Gulls will be making the programs first appearance in the Finals. In the seasons only regular season match up between the teams, the Gulls defeated CSC 3-1 to help earn the top spot in the CCC Tournament. The winner of Saturday's match will earn the CCC's automatic qualification for the NCAA Tournament.
