BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott women’s cross country program opens up its 2021 season on Wednesday, September 1 against crosstown rival Gordon College in the “Battle of the North Shore” in Wenham, Mass. at 4:45 PM. Here’s what to look forward to for the upcoming season.

FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
- Endicott is 2-1 overall versus Gordon in the "Battle of the North Shore" since the dual meet series was started in 2017.
- Wednesday's meet will also feature Salve Regina but the Seahawks won't factor into the "Battle of the North Shore" standings, just the overall meet results.
- Julia Adrian (Noank, Conn.), Julia Clark (Tolland, Conn.), Emma Johnson (Reading, Mass.), and Madeleine Keefe (Nashua, N.H.) have been selected as captains for this year's squad.
- The 2021 Gulls' roster features 16 student-athletes, all of whom will look to build upon Endicott's third place finish at the 2019 Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship.
- The Endicott Invitational, which is slated for Saturday, September 11 at Bradley Palmer State Park (Essex, Mass.), will feature nearly 10 teams from around the region.
