Endicott Ranked No. 47 Overall In 2025-26 LEARFIELD Directors’ Cup Fall Standings
BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott College varsity athletics program is ranked No. 47 overall out of 422 NCAA Division III institutions in the 2025-26 LEARFIELD Directors' Cup fall standings, as announced by the National Association of Collegiate Athletic Directors (NACDA).
The Directors' Cup is awarded to the athletics program with the most broad-based participation and success in NCAA Tournament postseason competition. Standings for the Directors' Cup are based on a points system that rewards a school's finish in up to 18 sports – nine men and nine women – in NCAA Championships.
Endicott compiled 103.00 points this fall, following NCAA Tournament Second Rounds runs by the Gulls' field hockey (53 points, 9th place) and football (50 points, 17th place) programs.
Among Conference of New England (CNE) schools, Endicott ranks first overall ahead of Suffolk (44 points), Hartford (25), Roger Williams (25), and Wentworth (25).
The Gulls are also ranked No. 12 regionally, behind Tufts (1st), Williams (2nd), Middlebury (3rd), Wesleyan (4th), MIT (5th), Amherst (6th), Babson (7th), Bowdoin (8th), Colby (9th), Connecticut College (10th), and Hamilton (11th).
Endicott's best finish in the LEARFIELD Directors' Cup Standings is No. 28 overall (445.00 points, 2013-14).

SCORING SYSTEM EXPLAINED
Overall, 18 sports are counted in the final DIII standings, four of which must be men's and women's soccer and men's and women's basketball. The next highest (14 max.) sports scored for each institution, regardless of gender, are used in the standings.
Fall sports: men's and women's cross country, field hockey, football, men's and women's soccer, women's volleyball, and men's water polo.
Winter sports: men's and women's basketball, fencing, men's and women's ice hockey, rifle, skiing, men's and women's swimming, men's and women's indoor track and field, men's wrestling.
Spring sports: baseball, men's and women's golf, men's and women's lacrosse, women's rowing, softball, men's and women's tennis, men's and women's track and field, men's volleyball, women's water polo.
