Matt transferred to Endicott from Div II, Bryant College (Smithfield, RI). He was Middlesex League All Star in his junior and senior years. Some of Matt's most memorable college moments are: Endicott's first NCAA win vs. Amherst College; Regular season game vs. Salve Regina where he went 4-5 with 4 homeruns; Being voted the ECAC MVP in '05; Having 18 strikeouts in one game vs. Anna Maria in '04; Playing in the Cape Cod Baseball League in '05; Being the first player of the program to be drafted into Major League Baseball (Houston Astros/2005 Draft/37th round)
