Equestrian team prepares for start of 2010 season

Beverly, Mass. - The Endicott equestrian team is set for the season-opening show on October 9 hosted by the University of Vermont. One day later, the Gulls travel to New Haven, Vt. for a show hosted by Middlebury College. Start time for both events is 9:00 am.
The competitions will be the first of the season in Region 2. Competitors will include UVM, Middlebury, UNY, Dartmouth, Castleton State, Colby-Sawyer, Colby College, UNE, and UMaine.
Some Endicott riders got an early start with their ribbons by competing in the Massachusetts Horsemen’s Council Equitation Days of Champions on September 29-30. Junior \#Lauren Horth\# earned the Reserve Champion award in the Adults over Fences Medal Class. Horth competed against 60 other riders in the event.
Sophomore \#Anna Pavlov\# followed suite with a fourth place showing in the Open Equitation Adults (18-30) Class and a ninth place finish in the Medal Class.
Endicott graduate Megan Piermarini finished second in the Open Equitation Class and won a Reserve Championship.
