STOUGHTON, Mass. – The Endicott equestrian team claimed reserve high point team honors (second place overall out of 11 teams) last Saturday at a point show co-hosted by Bridgewater State University and Stonehill College at Winters End Farm.
Along with finishing second overall as a team, Endicott also saw Abbigale Gerrish (Greenland, N.H.), Isabella Jarosiewicz (Boxford, Mass.), and Brianna Gallagher (Plymouth, Mass.) all qualify for regionals.
Gerrish's day included a second place showing in open fences and a fourth place performance in open flat.
Meanwhile, Jarosiewicz was second in intermediate fences and third in intermediate flat and Gallagher was sixth in walk-trot.
"I was very pleased about how the show went today! Everyone rode very well and stepped up to the competition," said Endicott equestrian head coach Bethany Jones. "Having three riders qualify for regionals today was outstanding. On top of that, coming out second as a team shows how hard the girls have worked this season to be where they are. We are looking forward to regionals next weekend!"
