  • Endicott Football & Team Impact Signs Vince!

    BEVERLY, Mass. – November 16th, 2013 will forever be a historic day for the Endicott football program that celebrated their second New England Football Conference (NEFC) Championship in four years. But only a few hours before the final whistle blew on the field at Endicott Stadium and the NEFC trophy was hoisted by the Gulls, a relationship with a special recruit and future member of the Endicott football program was just beginning.
  • NEFC Academic All-Conference Released; 36 Gulls Recognized

    BEVERLY, Mass. - After first semester grades were finalized, the New England Football Conference (NEFC) announced their annual Academic All-Conference Teams which recognizes gridiron stars that have achieved a grade-point average of at least 3.0 with at least three semesters spent at one institution. Endicott set a program record with 36 student-athletes being named to the 2013 NEFC Academic All-Conference squad.

    BEVERLY, Mass. - Endicott senior kicker/punter Dylan Rushe (Palos Verdes, Calif.) wrapped up a highly-decorated 2013 postseason and career with All-America Second Team honors, marking the third time he has appeared on an all-american list this year.

    CENTERVILLE, Mass. – Four Endicott seniors were named to the ECAC Division III North All-Star Team, raising their season total to 10 All-Region awards following the Gulls 8-3 season that saw them capture their second NEFC Championship and automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament. Kicker and punter Dylan Rushe (Palos Verdes, Calif.) leads the team with five All-Region awards to go along with his two All-American nods and conference accolades.

  • Dylan Rushe Becomes Program's First AFCA All-America Winner

    WACO, Texas – For the first time in program history, a star of the Endicott football gridiron has been named to the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Division III All-America Team as senior Dylan Rushe (Palos Verdes, Calif.) earned his second postseason all-american award as a placekicker. The AFCA, which has selected an All-America team since 1945, is voted upon by the nation’s head coaches and honors 11 offensive, 11 defensive, and three special teams players.

    BEVERLY, Mass. – Award season continued this week in NCAA Division III college football as Endicott’s highly skilled senior punter Dylan Rushe (Palos Verdes, Calif.) was recognized as a Second Team All-American by Beyond Sports Network (BSN), earning his second career all-american award after being previously named to the Second Team as a placekicker in 2011.

    MANCHESTER, N.H. - The list of 2013 New England Football Writers (NEFW) Division II/III All-New England team have been named and Endicott seniors Dylan Rushe (Palos, Verdes, Calif.) and Jason Silva (Palatine, Ill.) were listed among the 28 honorees who will be honored at the annual NEFW Captains and Awards Banquet on Thursday, December 12th at the Montvale Plaza in Stoneham.

    BEVERLY, Mass. – Playing in their second NCAA Division III Tournament game in program history as the automatic qualifier out of the New England Football Conference (NEFC), the Endicott football team matched up against a hard-running Rowan Profs squad out of the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) and lost 24-0 to end their season. The Gulls saw their 2013 campaign come to a close with an 8-3 overall record after posting an undefeated mark in league play and winning the NEFC Championship for the second time in four seasons.

    BEVERLY, Mass. – The New England Football Conference’s (NEFC) top offense, second-ranked defense, and championship winning squad was well represented on the All-Conference Teams and Awards release as Endicott received 16 awards including Offensive Player of the Year, Defensive Rookie of the Year, and Coach of the Year.
  • Football Set To Face Rowan In NCAA First Round

    INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The field of 32 for the 2013 NCAA DIII Football Tournament was announced Sunday evening, and the Endicott football team drew the Profs of Rowan University in their opening round match. Endicott, 8-2 on the season received an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament after winning the NEFC Championship this past weekend in a 24-0 shutout victory over Salve Regina.

On Sunday, the NCAA Selection Committee will reveal the field of 32 teams including Endicott’s opponent in the First Round which will be played on Saturday, November 23rd at a location and time to be determined.

    BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott football team has one team left on their regular season schedule and their November 16th home game against Salve Regina will determine who takes the NEFC automatic qualifying bid into the NCAA Tournament. The Gulls will take a 7-2 (6-0 NEFC) record and a six-game winning streak into their showdown with the Seahawks after today’s 38-21 win over Western New England.

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Thanks to a 528-yard offensive outburst and a defensive effort that kept their opponent scoreless for nearly 34 game minutes, the Endicott football team ran their win-streak to five games with a 52-21 victory over NEFC rival MIT. The Gulls improved to 6-2 (5-0 NEFC) and remain one of two unbeaten teams in the league along with their opponent in two weeks, Salve Regina.

Endicott benefited from 157 rushing yards and two touchdowns from sophomore tailback Spencer Walsh (Malden, Mass.) and 14 points from senior kicker Dylan Rushe (Palos Verdes, Calif.) who converted four of five field goal attempts.

    DUDLEY, Mass. – The Endicott football team will go into their bye week riding a three-game win streak as the Gulls routed NEFC opponent Nichols 51-7 on the road to improve to 4-2 overall and 3-0 in league play. The Gulls offense showcased a well-rounded attack with three touchdowns through the air, three on the ground, and another on an 81-yard kickoff return.

Cooper was named NEFC Defensive Player of the Week for his performance, the first weekly honor the captain has received in his career.

This year’s class consists of All-American softball pitcher Robyn Savitske-Crosby ’07 and gridiron great Pego Jean-Paul ’08.

Gulls junior quarterback Drew Frenette (New Bedford, Mass.) threw for over 300 yards and four touchdown passes and sophomore running back Spencer Walsh (Malden, Mass.) rushed a season-high 149 yards and two scores to lead the offensive effort.
