ECAC Names Endicott QB Drew Frenette Co-Player of the Week

DANBURY, Conn. - Endicott senior quarterback Drew Frenette (New Bedford, Mass.) added Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III New England Co-Player of the Week honors to his week five accolades in recognition of his four-touchdown effort against Maine Maritime last Saturday. 

Frenette led the Gulls to a 45-28 road win over the Mariners courtesy of 408 yards passing on 27-of-38 attempts and touchdown passes of 15, 28, five, and 36 yards. His 408 yards was the second-highest of his career and his second straight game with four touchdown tosses. 

Frenette now finds himself 490 yards and five passing touchdowns shy of predecessor Phil Konopka's '12 all-time records. 

Frenette shared the ECAC DIII New England Player of the Week award with Framingham State quarterback Matt Silva who threw for 448 yards and three touchdowns in a landslide win over MASCAC opponent UMass Dartmouth.
