Career Summary

2015: Team captain...season senior at Endicott... played in seven games... compiled 290 yards on the ground on 67 attempts... scored a touchdown against Maine Maritime on October 24... had 47 yards on 11 total carries in that contest... also caught four passes for 71 yards... registered 40 or more rushing yards in three games... notched ten or more carries in three games

2014: Limited to six games due to injury as a junior...rushed for 385 yards (3.5 ypc, 64.2 ypg) and caught 19 passes for 171 yards...ran for a season-high 93 yards in a season opening loss at Framingham State...caught five balls for 57 yards in the regular season finale at Salve Regina

2013: Member of NEFC Championship winning Endicott team and NCAA First Round participant...played in all 11 games as a sophomore...ran for 1,250 yards (4.7 ypc, 113.8 ypg) with a program, single-season record 14 rushing touchdowns...totaled 14 receptions for 84 yards and one touchdown...15 total touchdowns tied program record previously set by wide receiver Mike Murphy in 2012...recorded six games of 100+ rushing yards including a season-high 191-yard effort in a 53-28 win over Maine Maritime...from week four to week 10 (six games), Walsh had multi-touchdown performances in every game including a season-high three TDs in a 52-21 win over MIT

2012: Appeared in two games while playing for Springfield College...attempted one rush for three yards

Professional Aspirations

Spencer has completed student teaching internships with physical education classes in both the middle school and high school levels in Melrose...he will be interning with Athletic Evolution in Woburn in the fall of 2015 as he aspires to get a post-graduation job in strength & conditioning

Community Service

At Endicott, Spencer and his football teammates helped build Mrs. Papi's Playground at the Welch School in April 2013 and cleaned it up on a yearly basis since then...he also participate in the food drive project at Beverly Farms in 2014, Relay for Life in March of 2015, and helped at the 2015 Color Run held on campus...in high school, Spencer coached young children at the football boot camp at Athletic Evolution in Woburn from 2009-10, did the Jimmy Fund Walk in 2011, and the Walk for Danny Williams

Fun Facts

Spencer's cousin, Matthew Steuterman, plays football at Bowdoin and his uncle, Brian Walsh, played hockey at American International College...Spencer is also a member of the Endicott Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and the Exercise Science Club
