Bridgewater, Ferreira Secure CNE Weekly Awards
BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott football junior running back Markys Bridgewater (Lawrence, Mass.) and freshman running back Bryan Ferreira (Woburn, Mass.) have been named the Conference of New England's (CNE) Offensive Player and Rookie of the Week (respectively), the league office announced on Monday evening.

Bridgewater posted a career day when it mattered most, as the junior running back led Endicott to a 45-17 victory over Curry in a battle of league undefeateds for the Conference of New England (CNE) Championship on Saturday at Hempstead Stadium.
Bridgewater rushed for 236 yards and two touchdowns on just nine attempts (26.2 yards per carry). He also hauled in one catch for 18 yards and compiled 70 yards on two kick returns (35.0 average, 44 long) for a career-high 321 all-purpose yards on the day.
His first touchdown was a 90-yard house call up the right sideline to break a 17-17 tie with 4:42 remaining in the third quarter.
He then capped his career day in the fourth via a 47-yard dash at the 12:31 mark of the quarter to lift the Gulls to a 38-17 advantage.
The junior's 236 rushing yards on the afternoon shattered his previous career high of 130 (10/4/25, UNE).
This marks his first career CNE Offensive Player of the Week award.
BRYAN FERREIRA | ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Ferreira compiled 117 yards and one touchdown on 12 attempts (9.8 average) in Endicott's 45-17 CNE Championship victory over Curry on Saturday.
The freshman tailback's lone TD came in the third quarter, as Ferreira made a 46-yard house call to break open the Gulls' advantage to 31-17 with 2:01 remaining in the stanza.
He also caught two passes for 28 yards in the victory (145 all-purpose yards).
This is Ferreira's fourth CNE Rookie of the Week this season (10/6/25, 10/20/25, 10/27/25).

Endicott (9-1) travels to No. 10/12 nationally ranked Salisbury (9-1) for an NCAA second round matchup on Saturday, November 29, for the first-ever meeting between the programs at 12 PM.
