Antonio Rossi enters his fourth year as an assistant coach with the football program in 2025-26. Rossi was officially promoted to Defensive Coordinator in March 2025 after being named special teams coordinator in February 2024. He was officially hired on February 20, 2023.
In his three seasons with the Endicott football program, Rossi has led six linebackers to All-Conference honors and two to All-Region recognition.
In his first season as Defensive Coordinator (2025), the Gulls' defense ranked at the top of the conference and among the nation's best in multiple categories, highlighted by top-25 NCAA Division III rankings in scoring defense (No. 23, 15.5 PPG) and total defense (No. 25, 268.9). The season also culminated with Rossi leading 11 student-athletes to All-Conference honors, three to All-Region accolades, and two to NEFW D2/D3 All-New England Team selections. Caleb Luz and Joe Tirrell highlighted the group with Conference of New England (CNE) Defensive Lineman and Defensive Player of the Year honors, respectively.
Rossi also works with special teams and has seen kickers Ryan Smith and Mike Bartley named to the All-Conference teams, while Smith was named to the All-Region team and Hansen Ratings All-Region 1 teams (2024). Rossi also coached 2024 All-Conference second-team return specialist Kennedy Charles. In 2025, Rossi handled the kickoff return unit, ending the year ranked No. 1 in Division III in kick return yardage (32.05 per game).
Rossi comes to Endicott from Harvard University. During his time with the Crimson, Rossi served as the defensive quality control coach and was responsible for weekly opponent breakdown information for both defense and special teams.
He also assisted with opponent scouting reports, instructed and coached the linebacker position group, managed the scout team for special teams periods, assisted with on-campus recruiting events, and was responsible for recording offensive formations and plays along with all defensive information on gamedays.
Rossi's previous coaching experiences include Assumption University (defensive line), Springfield College (graduate assistant: linebackers & outside linebackers), and Becker College (defensive line).
Rossi earned his Bachelor of Science in Movement and Sport Studies in 2018. He went on to obtain his Master of Education in Physical Education from Springfield in 2020.
