CCC Rookie Honor for Rheaume
Beverly, MA-- Freshman Jennifer Rheaume, was named Rookie of the Week as announced by the Commonwealth Coast Conference. This is Rheaume's first honor in this category, as she was previously named Offensive Player of the Week in October.
Rheaume netted the game-winner as the fourth-seeded Gulls edged the fifth-seeded Regis College 2-1, advancing EC to the CCC semifinal game against Salve Regina. On a breakaway, she beat three defenders and the goalie marking her third game-wining goal of the season. "Jen Rheaume has outstanding stick work and a nose for the goal," Head Coach Laura O'Neil said.
The Blackstone, MA native is currently tied for sixth place with assists per game (5). "We will look to her to be a strong offensive threat in our upcoming post season games," Coach O'Neil said. Rheaume has tallied four goals and five assists for the season, totaling 13 points.
Yesterday, EC upset the \#1 seeded Salve Regina 1-0. With the win, Endicott travels to New England College for the Conference Championship Title this Saturday at 1 p.m.
