Forgues wins TCCC Rookie of the Week

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Endicott College freshman Allison Forgues (Auburn, Maine) was named field hockey TCCC Rookie of the Week this week as announced by TCCC Commissioner Gregg M. Kaye on Tuesday. Forgues helped lead the Gulls to a 2-0 week that allowed Endicott gain sole possession of first place in The Commonwealth Coast Conference.

Earlier in the week, the freshman forward made her first career start against Western New England and was able to record an assist in the 6-0 rout of the Golden Bears. Forgues then came off the bench over the weekend and scored two goals in a 3-1 win against a previously unbeaten in conference Nichols squad. The win allowed Endicott to move to 14-3 on the season as well as being alone atop the TCCC standings at 7-0.

The Blue and Green wrap up their TCCC regular season when they travel to Gordon College on Wednesday for a game under the lights at 7:00 p.m.
