FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
- Endicott and Middlebury each won their respective first-round games to advance to the Second Round. The Panthers defeated Westfield St. in the First Round, 6-0. The other game in the regional will see the hosts, No. 2 Johns Hopkins, take on No. 22 WPI on Saturday at 11 AM.
- This is the second all-time meeting in the NCAA Tournament between the Gulls and Panthers, with the first coming back in 2021 (Middlebury, 5-1 W). Earlier this season, Endicott snapped Middlebury's 60-game non-conference unbeaten streak in a dramatic 2-1 OT win at home.
- The Blue and Green have advanced to the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament for the fourth time in program history.
- All-time, the Gulls hold a record of 1-3 against Middlebury. They are 3-1 against WPI and have never faced Johns Hopkins.
- Three goalies inside the top 10 nationally in save percentage will be in action this weekend as Faith Minickene (Madison, Conn.) ranks first, WPI's Myles Lakin (Reading, Mass.) ranks third, and Aubrey Kilgore (Schwenksville, Pa.) of Johns Hopkins ranks seventh.
