Gulls picked sixth in TCCC Preseason Poll

BEVERLY, Mass. - The Commonwealth Coast Conference released its annual preseason men’s basketball poll, and Endicott College has been picked to finish sixth. Voting for the preseason poll was conducted among the league’s head men’s basketball coaches.

Endicott’s cross-town rival Gordon College has been slotted as the preseason favorite after the Fighting Scots received five of the 14 first-place votes. Colby-Sawyer College was selected to finish second, also receiving five first place votes. The defending champions, the University of New England were picked to finish third while garnering two first place votes. Wentworth Institute of Technology also picked up a first place vote and was tabbed to finish fourth, while Roger Williams University was projected to finish fifth.

Teams received 14 points for every first place vote received, 13 points for second place votes, 12 points for third place votes, down to one point for a last place vote. First place votes are shown in parentheses.
