Baker and Kornusky Garner CCC Honors
BEVERLY, Mass. - Endicott's Tyler Baker (Falmouth, Maine) and Hadyn Kornusky (Topsfield, Mass.) have been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Golfer and Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league office earlier this afternoon.
BEVERLY, Mass. - Endicott's Tyler Baker (Falmouth, Maine) and Hadyn Kornusky (Topsfield, Mass.) have been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Golfer and Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league office earlier this afternoon.
The duo each stepped up to help the Gulls claim the Bowdoin Invitational for the first time since the 2015 season, as Endicott finished first out of the 15 teams in the field. Baker led the way, tying for first overall out of 80 golfers, posting rounds of 75 and 73 to finish +4, 148 on the weekend. His Saturday round included Endicott's first ever hole-in-one during tournament play. This was his second straight CCC Golfer of the Week honor.
Kornusky received CCC Rookie of the Week honors for the first time in his career after he finished the Bowdoin Invitational tied for 22nd. The freshman shot an opening round of 81 before firing a closing round of 75 on Sunday to finish +12, 156. His round of 75 on Sunday was tied for the 11th best round of the day.

The Gulls will mentally prepare for the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship Fall Qualifier on Thursday, to be held at the Green Valley Country Club in Portsmouth, R.I..
