Josh Bowes, Conor O’Brien Honored By CCC
BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott men’s ice hockey student-athletes Josh Bowes (Edmonton, Alberta, Canada) and Conor O’Brien (Pinellas Park, Fla.) have earned Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) weekly awards, as announced by the league office yesterday. Bowes was named the CCC Player of the Week, while O’Brien garnered CCC Goaltender of the Week accolades.
BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott men's ice hockey student-athletes Josh Bowes (Edmonton, Alberta, Canada) and Conor O'Brien (Pinellas Park, Fla.) have earned Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) weekly awards, as announced by the league office yesterday. Bowes was named the CCC Player of the Week, while O'Brien garnered CCC Goaltender of the Week accolades.
In last's week 3-3 overtime tie against No. 12/13 nationally ranked Norwich University, Bowes scored one power play goal and one shorthanded goal in the season opener for both programs.
Meanwhile, O'Brien made an incredible 39 saves in his collegiate debut including five saves alone in overtime to aid the Gulls to the tie.
WHAT'S NEXT
Endicott (0-0-1) opens up CCC play this weekend against Western New England on Friday, November 2 (road, 7 PM) and Saturday, November 3 (home, 4 PM).
