Bowes, Kalinowski Sign Pro Deals With Huntsville Havoc

BEVERLY, Mass. – Former Endicott men's ice hockey student-athletes Josh Bowes '18 M'21 (Edmonton, Alberta, Canada) and Jason Kalinowski '19 M'20 (Stamford, Conn.) have signed professional contracts with the Huntsville Havoc (SPHL) for the 2020-21 season.

Bowes returns to the Havoc after posting a 29-point campaign (8g/21a) in France's Synerglace Ligue Magnus for Scorpions de Mulhouse in 2019. This will be Bowes' second stint with Huntsville as the two-way forward aided the Havoc to a championship in 2018-19 behind 11 points (3g/8a) in 15 games.

Meanwhile, Kalinowski becomes the ninth student-athlete in the brief six-year history of the Endicott men's ice hockey program to turn pro.

Kalinowski is joined on the list by Logan Day (AHL), Jack Musil (EIHL), Anthony Petrella (SPHL), Ross Olsson (ECHL), Carter Horwitz (SPHL), Tommy Besinger (SPHL/France), the aforementioned Bowes (SPHL/France), and Jacob Gammelgaard (Denmark).

In four seasons with the Gulls, Kalinowski compiled 109 points (37g/72a) in 107 games played. Kalinowski also registered 19 power play goals, two shorthanded tallies, and 10 game-winners.

Kalinowski currently ranks third all-time at Endicott in points and goals, first in game-winning tallies, second in power play markers and assists, and fifth in plus/minus (+52).

The Havoc are scheduled to open up their 2020-21 season at home on Saturday, December 26 against Knoxville at 7 PM (CST).
