MIDDLETOWN, R.I. — Connor Beatty (Concord, N.H.) scored with 1:03 remaining in the third period to propel the No. 4 nationally ranked Endicott men's ice hockey team past Salve Regina, 2-1, in conference action on Friday night.
Ryan Gaulin (Kingston, N.H.) and Eric Manoukian (Manalapan, N.J.) were credited with assists on Beatty's sixth career game-winner.
Manoukian initiated the tally by pushing the puck out of Endicott's own end and up the boards to Gaulin who weaved through traffic for a clean zone entry.
From there, Gaulin skated into the corner and made a tough pass into the slot for Beatty to send home.
Connor Amsley (Carlisle, Pa.) put the Gulls on the scoreboard with his seventh tally of the season at the 9:59 mark of the first before Salve Regina eventually found the equalizer early in the third on the power play (2:42).
In goal, Atticus Kelly (St. Paul, Minn.) remained perfect on the season (8-0-0) behind a career-high 40 saves.
