Sterling And Kamienski Secure CNE Weekly Awards
BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott men's ice hockey goalie Peter Sterling (Manassas, Va.) and freshman forward Louie Kamienski (Elmhurst, Ill.) have been named the Conference of New England's (CNE) Goalie and Rookie of the Week, respectively, the league office announced on Monday afternoon.
PETER STERLING, GOALIE OF THE WEEK
In Endicott's 3-0-0 (2-0-0 CNE) week, Sterling made 65 saves with a .915 save percentage and a 2.00 GAA.
The freshman started the week making 23 saves and a .958 save percentage in a 4-1 road win over Wentworth. He then followed up with 14 saves in the Gulls' 8-2 victory over Western New England.
Then on Saturday, the Manassas, Va. native tied his second-highest career saves in a game with 28 during the Blue and Green's comeback 4-3 win on the road at Tufts.
This is Sterling's fourth career Goalie of the Week award (11/17/25, 12/1/25, 12/8/25).
LOUIE KAMIENSKI, ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
The freshman forward finished the week tied for a team-high five points with two goals and three assists during a 3-0-0 (2-0-0 CNE) week.
Kamienski started the week versus Wentworth with an assist on the first goal of the game for the Gulls en route to a 4-1 win.
The freshman then posted a career-high three points with a goal and two assists during Endicott's 8-2 victory over Western New England.
Then, trailing 3-1 going to the third period against Tufts, Kamienski got the scoring started in the third period with a power-play goal to cut the lead to one with 13:15 to play.
This marks Kamienski's first career Rookie of the Week award.

No. 7 Endicott (11-1-1, 6-1-1 CNE) hosts No. 8 University of New England on Friday, January 16 at 6 PM.
