Barker And Fernandez Receive CNE Weekly Awards

Barker was named Specialist of the Week while Fernandez claimed Offensive Player of the Week
THOMAS BARKER
Barker went 74% at the center "X" this week for Endicott in a 2-0 week, going 40-54. The senior also recorded a team-high 37 ground balls during the week.
In Endicott's road win over Roger Williams, Barker went 21-30 facing off, with a season-high 20 ground balls. He also scored a goal in the fourth quarter as the Gulls used a 9-4 scoring advantage to remain undefeated in conference play.
The Needham, Mass. native followed up against Wentworth, going 19-24 at the "X" with 17 ground balls. The senior won his 1,000th career faceoff in the win, just the third student-athlete in program history to accomplish the feat. Barker also scored a goal in the third quarter as Endicott blew the game open, outscoring the Leopards 8-1.
This is his 19th career Specialist of the Week award and fifth time this season (2/18, 3/10, 3/31, and 4/7).
CAM FERNANDEZ
Fernandez headlined Endicott's offense as he finished with 15 points during a 2-0 week, recording seven goals and eight assists. The senior finished second on the team during the week with seven ground balls and added a caused turnovers as well.
In Endicott's win over Roger Williams, Fernandez set a new career high for points with nine as he scored six goals and had three assists. With the Gulls up three at halftime, the senior had six of his nine points in the second half as they outscored the Hawks 14-6.
The senior followed up against Wentworth with six points- one goal and five assists to pick up the senior day victory. Scored once and had three assists in the third quarter to help Endicott outscore the Leopards 8-1.
This is Fernandez's fifth career Offensive Player of the Week award and his fourth this season (3/10, 3/31, and 4/7).
