"It was great to get back out on the pitch today against Wentworth for the first time in over a year and the boys didn't miss a beat," said Endicott men's rugby head coach Dave Kenkel. "They came out aggressive in the first match with excellent tackling and created several turnovers leading to the match one victory."
Kenkel continued.
"From there, we overcame some adversity in match two falling to a 7-0 deficit early but Ryan Cafferky (Medford, Mass.) scored two breakaway tries and show great pace to help us to rebound in match two. In our last match of the day, the squad produced several multi-phase movements that led to six tries. Several of our student-athletes had excellent matches but James Carew's (Simsbury, Conn.) defensive prowess and Cafferky's offensive skills really were impressive."
