BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott men’s rugby team has been ranked No. 3 overall in the final National Collegiate Rugby (NCR) Small College Top 20 Coaches Poll.
BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott men's rugby team has been ranked No. 3 overall in the final National Collegiate Rugby (NCR) Small College Top 20 Coaches Poll.
The Gulls defeated No. 6 Catholic, 33-19, in the NCR Small College National Championship Third Place Match to solidify the program's best-ever finish in the NCR 15s National Championship.
Endicott achieved the historic feat by earning wins against Salve Regina (CCRC Semifinals, 62-0), No. 11 Bryant (CCRC Championship, 17-5), No. 16 Geneseo (NCR Regionals, 34-16), and No. 4 UMaine (NCR Regionals Championship, 15-13) prior to upending Catholic.
