No. 3 Men’s Rugby Wins CCRC 7s Championship
SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The No. 3 nationally ranked Endicott men’s rugby team captured the Colonial Coast Rugby Conference (CCRC) 7s Championship behind a perfect 5-0 record on Saturday evening at Bryant University.
SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The No. 3 nationally ranked Endicott men's rugby team captured the Colonial Coast Rugby Conference (CCRC) 7s Championship behind a perfect 5-0 record on Saturday evening at Bryant University.
Endicott defeated UMass Dartmouth (41-0), Franklin Pierce (50-0), Plymouth State (55-0), Mass. Maritime (19-0), and Bryant (38-5, title game) to punch its ticket to nationals.
On the day, the Gulls outscored their opponents 205-5.
Men of the Tournament were Teyshawn Jackson (Windsor, Conn.) and Jonathan Taylor (Chicago, Ill.).
Tackle of the Tournament was awarded to Lyndon Silver (Topsfield, Mass.).
