    Endicott College freshman Elias Carrero (Great Barrington, MA) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference Rookie of the Week for men's soccer as a result of his outstanding performance this past week. The Gull's midfielder finished the week with 3 goals and 1 assist.

    In the 2-3 loss to Wentworth, Carrero was a spark for the Gulls scoring a goal and adding an assist. Carrero then tallied 2 goals to lift the Gulls over Nichols College, 4-1. Carrero is currently second on the team in scoring with 5 goals and 2 assists. He is also second in shots on goal with 25.

    "Elias is an asset to our team," said Head Coach Stefano Franciosa. "As a freshman he has already made big contributions. He controls the ball at midfield and has started in every game this season."
