BEVERLY, MA - Endicott College senior striker Josh Lewis (Groveland, MA/Pentucket) became the first men's soccer player in Endicott history to earn All-New England honors.
Lewis capped a terrific four years at EC by leading the Commonwealth Coast Conference in scoring (4-11-19) and finished with six goals for 24 points overall. He was also an integral part of the Gulls' push to the CCC playoff semifinals, which garnered the attention of the NSCAA/Addidas All-America Committee.
"Josh is a special player who has a special gift in finding the net," said head coach Stefano Franciosa. "He was born to score goals. Josh has been a very important part of our success for the past four years."
Lewis, who led the CCC in assists and was sixth in goals, was a First-Team All-New England selection as well as a First-Team CCC member. Other CCC All-Stars were senior Daniel Duvernoy (Hamilton, NY/Hamilton), who was a fellow first-team selection, and third-team nominee Elias Carrero (Great Barrington, MA/Monumen Mountain).
