Springfield, Mass. – Two second-half goals by Western New England College handed the Endicott men’s soccer team their fourth loss of the season, dropping them to 0-4-1 (0-2 TCCC). With the 2-0 win, WNEC improved to 3-3-1 (2-0 TCCC).

WNEC’s freshman forward
Andrew Rose (Farmington, Conn.) opened up the scoring for the
Golden Bears as he converted a chance just three minutes into the
second half. It was his third goal of the season.
In the 86th minute,
Justin Martins (Ludlow, Mass.) added an insurance goal with an
assist from Tony DeCato (Winsted, Conn.).
Gulls goalkeeper \#Daniel
Higgins\# (Kingstown, R.I.) was under heavy fire all match, but was
able to make six saves in the loss. WNEC outshot Endicott
19-12, including 11 in the first half alone.
WNEC’s freshman goalie
Domenick Villano (Bronxville, N.Y.) registered four saves while
picking up the shutout victory.

opponent, the University of New England, on Tuesday, September 21
