Bio

Peter Kersker is in his first year coaching at Endicott College will be primarily responsible for the goal keepers.

Peter has spent the past two years with local, Beverly based Aztec soccer club. He works on the boys and girls side of the club and currently serves as the clubs goal keeper coach, as well as head coach for the U-12 Boys and U-12 Girls teams.  Peter will be entering into his third year of coaching with the Massachusetts Olympic Development Program. He has assisted with the ODP U-17 and U16 Boys, this year he looks forward to assisting with the U-15 boys squad. Peter spent his last two summers working as the goal keeper coach with the Boston Breakers (WPS) reserve team. Last summer the Breakers reserves won the 2010 WPSL National title. Peter has served as a goal keeper coach for many high schools in the North Shore area including Governors Academy, Waring School, Landmark school and Beverly High School. In 2007 during a year off of College due to illness, Peter served as Gloucester High School girl’s varsity head coach. Peter currently holds his USSF D coaching license and his NSCAA Regional Goal Keeper Diploma. 

After graduating from Ipswich High School, Peter spent an entire year down at the prestigious IMG sports academy in Bradenton, Florida.  After leaving Florida he started his collegiate career at Div 1. University of Massachusetts. His freshmen year he served as the #2 goal keeper before suffering a spring season arm injury that forced a medical red shirt his sophomore year. Leaving UMass, Kersker transferred to New England Div. 3 perennial powerhouse Keene State College. Peter served as the starting keeper for three seasons as an owl. During those three seasons the owls won 2 conference championships and lost in a conference championship final. Peter participated in two NCAA post season tournaments.  He was captain of the team during his junior and senior campaigns. Peter was a two time Little East all conference and all academic team member. His senior year he was selected to the NEISL senior all star team. Peter Graduated from Keene State College class of 09’, with a Bachelors of Science in Occupational Health and Safety studies.

Peter is a Beverly native and youngest of four brothers. His oldest brother Mike served as the Endicott College men’s soccer head coach from 1997-2001. During that time the gulls won their first conference championship.
