Bethany Takes Down Endicott

HILTON HEAD, SC - Bethany College defeated Endicott, 7-0 Wednesday afternoon in Hilton Head, South Carolina.
The Gulls (1-3) received strong play at first singles from Josh Schoen (Phoenix, AZ/Arcadia), who lost 7-6, 4-6, 1-6. Third singles Gabriel Moraga (Marlboro, CT/Hebron), also played well in defeat, losing 3-6, 2-6, while Schoen and Moraga lost 2-8 at first doubles.
Endicott's other singles players were No. 2 Scott Teller (Granville, NY/Granville) (0-6, 3-6); No. 4 Dave Micka (Belchertown, MA/Belchertown) (0-6, 1-6); No. 5 Mark Maloney (Feeding Hills, MA/Agawam) (1-6, 1-6); and No. 6 Parker Olen (Falmouth., ME/Falmouth) (0-6, 0-6).
The Gulls other doubles team were No. 2 Teller/Micka (3-8) and No. 3 Maloney/Nate Buell (Westfield, MA/Westfield) (2-8).
Endicott wrapped up the trip to Hilton Head at 1-3 and will face Eastern Nazarene Saturday afternoon.
