Men’s Tennis Announces 2016 Schedule

2016 ENDICOTT MEN'S TENNIS SCHEDULE

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott men's tennis team has announced its 2016 spring schedule. Dates and times for the Gulls spring break trip to Hilton Head, South Carolina will be made available later in the season.

Endicott begins the spring portion of its schedule with a road matchup against NCAA Division II opponent Saint Anselm at 3:30 p.m. on February 26.

After returning from South Carolina in early March, the Gulls will travel to Salem State and Wentworth on March 24 and 29, respectively, before hosting Eastern Nazarene in their first home match of the season on April 2 at 1 p.m. Last year, Endicott defeated the Lions, 5-4, after trailing 2-1 at the conclusion of doubles.

Endicott will then host NCAA Division II Bentley, who finished the 2015 season with 13 wins, on Sunday, April 3 at 2 p.m. The Gulls follow that matchup with a road contest against North Shore rival Gordon (15-5, 5-3 CCC) on April 6 at 4 p.m. and a home match versus the four-time defending CCC champion Nichols Bison on April 9 at 1 p.m.

Other notable matchups on the schedule include Roger Williams (13-5, 8-0 CCC) – the 2015 CCC regular season champions – and UMass Boston, which will serve as the final home match of the year for the Gulls on April 26 (3:30 PM).
