BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott men’s tennis team fell to No. 3 nationally ranked Tufts University, 7-0, in non-conference action on Sunday evening at the Bass River Tennis Club.

BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott men's tennis team fell to No. 3 nationally ranked Tufts University, 7-0, in non-conference action on Sunday evening at the Bass River Tennis Club.
In doubles, the No. 3 pairing of Patrick Johnson (Beverly, Mass.) / Ethan Hopman (Summit, N.J.) put together a gritty effort, but ultimately fell 7-5.
Tufts took the No. 1 and No. 2 flights by 6-0 and 6-3 scores.
Hopman also battled at No. 3 singles, falling 7-5, 6-2.

"Overall, we fought hard and played well," said Endicott men's tennis head coach Dejan Stankovic. "Tonight's match was a good test for us early in the season before conference play begins."

Endicott (2-3) visits Assumption on Tuesday, March 18 at 3 PM. No. 3 Tufts (4-0) takes on Pomona-Pitzer on Saturday, March 15 at 3 PM in Claremont, California.
