NEW LONDON, N.H. — The Endicott men's tennis team fell to Colby-Sawyer, 5-2, at the Kelsey Tennis Courts on Monday afternoon in Conference of New England (CNE) play.
In doubles, No. 1 George Danes (Old Lyme, Conn.)/ Aaron Terpko (Shrewsbury, Mass.) provided a 6-3 victory, while the Chargers took the doubles point, taking two out of three matches.
In singles action, the Gulls' top singles student-athlete Conrad Kadel (Heidelberg, Germany) secured a 6-1, 7(5)-6 triumph, followed by an Eric Scalici (Essex Fells, N.J.) 6-3, 6-1 win at the No. 5 slot.
BEYOND THE BOX
- Danes / Terpko picked up their second doubles victory together.
- Scalici has a team-best three wins at the No. 5 slot.
- The Gulls are 4-4 away from the Nest this season.
